This grammar learning program is designed for middle-schoolers and includes student-paced activities to reinforce and systematically grow knowledge. Each level takes part of the school year to complete. Then, students are free to apply what they have learned to their writing and reading assignments in their other language arts programs. They can also continue to review with bi-weekly exercises during the rest of the school year.

Analytical Grammar Level 4: Phrases and Clauses provides advanced work as students examine how phrases and clauses can fulfill multiple functions in a sentence. The program also includes a review of basic sentence diagramming. Topics covered include adjective, adverb, and noun clauses, as well as principle gerund, infinitive, and appositive clauses.

The Instructor Handbook includes a guide to getting started, a suggested schedule, instructor notes with tips and additional explanations, inset student pages with answers overlaid, and a line-by-line scoring guide for assessments. Level 4: Phrases and Clauses provides advanced work as students examine how phrases and clauses can fulfill multiple functions in a sentence. The program is softcover and suitable for Grades 7-8.
