This grammar learning program is designed for students to learn at their own pace while reinforcing and expanding their knowledge systematically through various activities. Each level corresponds to a part of the school year, allowing students to apply their newly acquired skills to their writing and reading assignments in their language arts classes. Bi-weekly exercises are also provided throughout the year for continued review. Analytical Grammar Level 2: Mechanics instructs on punctuation, capitalization, and usage rules, including comma usage, direct quotations, possessives, pronoun-antecedent agreement, subject-verb agreement, identifying adjectives and adverbs, and transitive and intransitive verbs. The Instructor Handbook comes with a suggested schedule, instructor notes, additional explanations, and a line-by-line scoring guide for assessments. This program comes in a softcover and is recommended for grades 4 through 6.
