This grammar curriculum is designed to help students develop a deep understanding of grammar, without simply relying on memorization. The program is designed for self-paced learning, with concise and concrete lessons that build knowledge sequentially. Each level takes part of the school year to complete, leaving students free to apply what they have learned to their writing and reading assignments in other language arts programs. Additionally, bi-weekly exercises help students to continuously review their grammar skills.

Analytical Grammar Level 3: Parts of Speech explores the complexity of the parts of speech, including linking and helping verbs, prepositional phrases, sentence patterns, and more. This program teaches students to analyze the interactions and roles that parts of speech play in sentences. The Student Worktext contains student notes with instructions, examples, and practice exercises; assessments; and weekly instruction practice and Application & Enrichment activities for functional writing skills. Reinforcement worksheets review concepts and skills to keep proficiency sharp between levels 3 and 4.
