The Critical Thinking Company’s Building Writing Skills: Level 2 is a helpful resource for middle school students to improve their writing. The book covers the five-step writing process, as well as how to write personal narratives, story narratives, argumentative/persuasive papers, and informative/explanatory papers. Students will engage in various activities, including drafting, revising, editing, following checklists, and reading student example papers. The book is 100 pages long and reproducible for a single classroom. Keep in mind that answers may vary, so there is no answer key included. This book is recommended for grades 6-7.
